CORCOVADO & ISLA CANO NATIONAL PARKS TOUR (June 25th & 26th)
Isla Cano National Park is an island off the coast of southern Costa Rica in the Pacific Ocean. Corcovado National Park which is one of the most fabulous parks in Costa Rica with an incredible beach and abundant wildlife is nearby on the mainland. These are two of the least visited of the national parks and the hardest to get to, making them the most pristine. Cano Island has for years been known as Treasure Island and is a unique ecological environment. The tour starts in Sierpe, where we board boats that will take us on the 1 /12 ride out to the island. Once there we will have time to swim and have lunch on the beach. Afterwards we will snorkel and swim in the almost completely untouched waters around the island. We will then leave the island and head across the channel to the Osa Peninsula, hopefully seeing whales and dolphins along the way. We will check into a secluded rainforest eco resort where we will stay in jungle bungalows. We will have dinner and games in the evening. The next day after breakfast, we will hike along beach and then into the Corcovado National Park. Here we will see a great deal of the wildlife that Costa Rica is so justifiably famous. We will also see waterfalls and a have a picnic lunch at the beach. After this we will return by boat back to Sierpe, where we will then head back to camp.
